In Mombasa, many families live without any form of regular income, surviving day to day with many children sleeping hungry and not just for one night! We help bring hope to children and families in our community, where without help there is little hope. We show the love of Jesus in practical ways, meeting families most pressing and immediate needs by providing education and food.

Working with the local community and other organizations we provide education to the most vulnerable. With your support we can ensure safe learning, provide learning materials, give medical care and health education that can help change the course of many lives.

Urgent Needs

​

We are still transitioning from “Chalk & Talk” to a new Competency Based Curriculum, bringing a new set of challenges. Technology features high on the curriculum’s requirements, as does a need for more teachers, as learning is more hands on and interactive. We are looking to invest in laptops, tablets and new teachers to help us achieve excellence.

We are hoping to start the new year with a new Kindergarten for children aged 4 & 5. We have the building, but it needs renovating (including a new roof) and new desks and chairs that are specifically for small children.

The cost of living challenge is affecting us all but especially the neediest, we have food in our local shops but not always the money to buy! In some ways that seems harder to handle, you can see food but have no means to buy it. Maybe you have already used up your goodwill and are told “no” until you come back with something small, we can help with that something small to ensure food is not just seen!
