Our Feeding Program in Timbwani, Likoni, Mombasa is about more than just meals. It delivers hope, dignity, and a reason to dream—especially for children.
In a community where many families survive on just one meal a day, hunger is more than a feeling—it’s a barrier. It hinders children from learning, growing, and becoming who they’re meant to be. Teachers see it daily: students too hungry to focus, heads resting on desks, eyes filled with fatigue instead of curiosity.
For these children, school is more than learning—it’s where hungry stomachs are nourished, so nothing holds them back. Through our program, one nutritious meal is provided every school day. This simple act transforms classrooms. Children gain the energy to participate, the focus to engage, and the strength to succeed. We’ve seen it clearly—better attendance, improved performance, and brighter, more confident smiles

One story that stands out is that of Vincent Mlonza, one of the siblings who knows the pain of hunger all too well. Before the program, school mornings meant empty stomachs and long, exhausting days. But everything changed when the feeding initiative launched at Tumaini Primary and High School. Even during holidays, Vincent could count on a warm meal. What the program gave him went beyond food—it brought stability, motivation, and hope.

To meet the needs of children walking long distances home under the scorching sun, we strategically placed the feeding center at a central school.
This small decision has had a big impact. Now, children from surrounding schools can benefit as well.
The result? Increased enrollment, fewer dropouts, and a stronger, more united community.

What began as a meal has become a movement of hope. It’s not just about nourishment—it’s about compassion, dignity, and restoration.
This is a spiritual act. A gesture of care, hospitality, and justice that reflects the heart of who we are

We remain committed to turning despair into dreams—one meal, one child, one life at a time.
Your donation can provide a warm, nutritious meal to a child who would otherwise go hungry.
