Our newly completed halfway house stands as a beacon of hope and growth
What began as a vision for a few small rooms blossomed into a two-storey residence — thoughtfully designed to accommodate more lives and dreams than we initially imagined.
The Story Behind the Space
The house features 24 private rooms, each with comfort, privacy, and dignity for its residents.
The first to make this house a home were five young adults, all over the age of 18 and graduates of Tumaini High School. Thanks to the generosity of our partners at Footsteps International, each young person received a small budget to purchase essential household items — from cozy bedding to kitchenware — giving them a sense of ownership and pride in this new phase of life.
Today, all rooms on the upper floor are fully occupied, and more young lives are being welcomed. As the space quickly fills, we’re already dreaming bigger. This halfway house is more than just a building; it’s a community. It’s a bridge to self-reliance. A place to learn, grow, and become.

Help Us Build More Futures
Thank you to everyone who has played a part in making this dream a reality, but we are calling for more support. It looks like we might need to go for a Third Storey!!!
